About Anna

Anna Bracher RN, BA (Hons), MSc.

I’m here to help families gently adjust into a more balanced bedtime.

Every family deserves non-judgemental advice and support based on the best available evidence. As a fully certified holistic sleep coach, I provide families with responsive and holistic sleep solutions without leaving anyone to cry alone.

I am a UK registered nurse and health visitor. After qualifying as a nurse almost a decade ago, I worked in a variety of settings before settling for my true passion: Supporting the health and wellbeing of families. I, therefore, trained as a health visitor up to a masters degree level. I love empowering families with information and support as well as offering a non-judgemental listening ear.

My Mission

I'm here to reassure and support

My first priority is to reassure you that you can have a baby with serious sleep problems and still be an amazingly good parent. My second is to offer support that is tailored to your baby’s biology and development, is gentle and you are comfortable with. When we get this right, the whole family will sleep better.

Kind Words

“Anna stopped my Googling at 3 a.m. Thank goodness. She was kind, knowledgeable and always provided evidence to support her gentle guidance. No pressure at all. The result – a reassured less stressed mum and happier baby. Phew. !”

Frequently Asked Questions

Health visitors are midwives or nurses (as in my case!) who have gone on to do extra studying in evidence-based health for families and children aged 0-5 years. I have taken this specialist studying up to master’s level achieving an MSc in specialist community public health nursing (health visiting).

A sleep coach empowers families with gentle evidence-based strategies. My approach takes into account your little one’s developmental stage, sleep biology, temperament and psychological needs as well as your priorities and parenting style to get everyone a good night’s sleep.

Please believe that this is OK. For many parents and babies, controlled crying strategies do not work. You are not  alone. The good news is that there are better holistic alternatives. Please book in for a free chat if you would like some help. Book Here

Crying it out can be really stressful for you, let alone your little one. There are more gentle and responsive strategies available that can help to optimise sleep so everyone can get a more peaceful rest without leaving anyone to cry alone.

I have a whole blog post on co-sleeping.  If you would like to discuss whether this is the right choice for you, please book in for a free chat.

If, after your free 15 minute introductory phone call, you decide you would like to work with me, I will book you in for a consultation. I will then send you a short questionnaire and sleep diary to complete. This diary gives me really useful information to assess your sleep situation holistically. It’s straightforward to fill in and you can dip in and out of it.

Once this is complete we can organise a video or telephone consultation at your convenience. We will go over your information and begin to map an approach tailored to your and your family.

I will then draw everything together and send you a personalised sleep support plan.

We will arrange follow-up and ongoing support dependent on the care package you have chosen.
